Homework Term 4 Week 3

For technology you can invent a device for quickly sorting into separate piles, a mixture of nuts and bolts.
Write down your first ideas.
Then write a plan.
Then write an evaluation of the device you invented.

My device is a small table about the size of a monitor. You put the bowl of nuts and bolts under the table. Next, you press a button on the side of the table which makes the table drop spikes out of the bottom of it. (The spikes are still attached to the bottom of the table.) Little discs open up at the ends of the spikes and then they lift upwards. You should be able to see some nuts on the ends of the spikes.

For THRASS, write ten words with "c" is for cat then write a descriptive sentence with each of the words.

I am a traveller, I arrived in my destination after a long flight: the Amazon. I had some information about the Amazon to read while I was flying. I came to study the monarch butterfly, along with their types of predator, plus the milkweed plant. Their orange wings are so beautiful with so many patterns, even though they are poisonous and maybe crunchy. I also studied the life cycle of monarchs which goes: egg, caterpillar, cocoon, butterfly and then egg again, and that is the life cycle for that insect. Ms S, I forgot or don't know what the following words mean: migration, larvae and chrysalis.

Once upon a time there was a boy who was the smartest person in the whole world so he was always right. People tried to challenge him but none succeeded. The boy's IQ was at least triple the amount of IQ most other people had. One day a scientist came and challenged the boy and to everybody's amazement the scientist was smarter.
