Arrange the 3 clear cups or glasses next to each other and pour an equal amount of tea into each one. Check that the level is the same in each cup.
Add a few drops of bleach into cup A.
Add a few drops of household cleaning liquid into cup B.
Do not add anything into cup C.
Have a close look at the colour of the tea and compare the colour in each cup.
Why it Works:
We added Bleach into cup A which made it go darker.
We added household cleaning liquid into cup B which made it stay the same.
We put nothing into cup C so it stayed the same.
We put vinegar into cup D and that made it lighter.
